policy amounced in the concluding words of your Despatch No. 227 of the 10th. October, 1917. Messrs. Arnhold Karberg & Co., were

registered as the joint or sole owers of, or used, the follow

-ing trade marks and unregistered marks:-

(a). The *Fox and Duck" mark, No. 102 A of 1894 in

class 24, cotton piece goods, registered in the joint names of Messrs. Arnhold, Karberg & Co. and Messrs. Geo. Fraser Son & Co. Ltd., of Manchester. The latter claim that the "half ownership (of Messrs. Arnhold, Karberg & Co.) was in reality nominal and the whole mark belonged in reality to lessrs. Geo. Fraser

Son & Co. Ltd."

(b). The Elephant and Skipping Rope" mark, No.102 B of 1894 in class 24, cotton piece goods,
